UIT is run by a single principal. I started in computers in 1993 when my own father asked me if I could write a program to calculate taxes for his clientele. When I first started writing database software, I knew I was hooked. Although I received my undergraduate degree from Texas A & M University in finance, I was later drawn to the excitement of computer programming.

I discovered early on in my career that I had a penchant for understanding business processes and converting those processes into efficient software for my customers. After 15 years of software and business process consulting, I can't lay a finger on a single day where I didn't enjoy my work.

I grew up in a family that ran its own small business. I have a deep understanding of how small to medium sized companies operate and how critical good software systems can be to their success.
